I am having the same issue with the 12.4 update on a MacBook Pro (14-inch, M1 Pro, 2021).

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.
NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;
• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed
• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)
• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically
• Disables user-installed fonts
• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

pmset restoredefaults did NOT fix the issue. I am still having to reboot basically daily, which is bad!
I already said I contacted them twice I even linked them this article. They can't fix it for me.
I have this issue too and 12.5 hasn't fixed this issue for me, neither any other solution above.
I have MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018).
