I want to know if there’s a way to show the battery percentage permanently on iPhone 11 just like with iPhone 6s because I find it convenient to check my battery percentage that way so I’m not sure if there’s a way.

Yes, that’s true, but there is no room in the status bar on any iPhone with a “notch” for the Face ID scanner. You can drag down from the battery icon to open the Control Center and view the battery percentage, among other features.
