Podcasts on iMac

I have an older iMac and an iphone 12 and I only use the Podcast app on the phone. I want to clear podcasts on my iMac to create badly needed storage space without losing them on the phone. Is there a way to do that without removing the app itself? Thanks.

My poor old iPod nano Since the recent iTunes split podcasts to a different app, I can't manage the podcasts on my ancient iPod nano. Is there any way I can delete podcasts? I seem to be able to add them from the podcast app on my MacBook Air...but I can't seem to remove any. Thanks in advance for any fixes.

Podcasts won't delete on iMac I've deleted them on my iPhone and iPad, but they are still showing up on my computer and taking up 55+ gigs of space! I have tried many ways to delete them, but they won't go away. I have Mojave and iTunes 12.9.0. I read somewhere to use the delete key, that didn't work.

Turn off Sync in Podcast preferences on your Mac.
