Why is the weather app not compatible with the the 9th gen iPad?

No iPads run the built-in Apple weather app.

You have two choices:

Download a 3rd party weather app from App Store

Use a widget, as per these instructions:--> Add widgets on iPad – Apple Support (UK)

Weather app on ipad I was just wondering, after upgrading my iPad Pro to OS 16, the weather app didn’t download to the iPad. Would you know the reason why?
