I clean my MacBook screen weekly using only a microfiber towel and dampen it a little with only water
I've come to notice that my MacBook screen has wipe marks that won’t come off and I don't know what to do with it or how to clean it

thank you turn out that I was too soft with the microfiber towel and that's why there were water smudges left on the screen but when I tried again with a bit more force I was able to remove it
Try a completely dry microfiber cloth. That will sometimes remove residue left by water.
