Digital crown fell off

apple watch SE digital crown( case part) fell off just after 8 months of sude sent it to service center asked me to buy a new one or the replace it and the replacement cost is more than what i bought it for

Apple Watch digital crown I recently got some soda spilled on my apple watch SE by accident. I cleaned it of right away, but I never thought it would damage the digital crown. It gets stuck every time I try to turn it, I’ve tried to clean it as much as I can, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Is it possible to get the digital crown replaced for a new one?
