trying to deregister imessage from an iphone I no longer have access to. how do I do this?

My personal iPhone number is registered on another iPhone that belonged to my company. I have left unexpectedly and did not have time to deregister on that work phone. That number is on my Apple ID profile and I can't remove it without access to that iPhone - which I no longer have
