Right after drag n drop of songs, iTunes says the original file cannot be found

I have a problem that is somewhat annoying. When I import a new album with, let's say 20 songs, by drag and drop into the application, iTunes lists all of the tracks nicely but randomly 1-4 or 5 of the songs cannot be played because iTunes claims it can't find the original file location. They were all imported from the same place, so why do some tracks malfunction while the others work?


Any thoughts on this, anyone?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12
