Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:

Hold it Right There!

Being Locked Out...

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

No Success?

Contact Apple support:

If you cannot get the above link to work, then contact Apple Support.

Apple Contact Info:

Why the Wait:

Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through

apple support does not understand NO COMPUTER NO APPLE STORE. they won't give any other solutions.

FIRST: You are not communicating with Apple Support; this is a user to user forum.

SECOND: Without a computer you will never be able to restore that phone to operation. There is no other way for an iPhone 5S. So if you don’t know anyone with a computer, can’t get to an Apple Store or any other computer service center, or a library, or school, then you are out of luck.

yes it's a 5s.. I've giving up. it was my husband's phone, out phone, he died of brain cancer, by the time I thought to ask about the icloud, itunes & passcodes, the tumors had all ready destroyed most of his memory. our pictures, our memories, his voice is on that phone. these are the reasons I wanted to access it.

I’m sorry for your loss. If the phone is already disabled it is not possible to recover anything on it, however, if it was backed up to iCloud (which can be automatic) or a computer you can restore that backup to another phone, or to this one if you reset it.
