Notes viewed on icloud.com display a capital "F" in bold and not italicized.

Whenever I type a capital "F" and italicize it via the Notes app and then view the note online at https://www.icloud.com/notes, the "F" displays in bold and is not italicized.

The "F" appears fine in my Notes app but not online.

Notes app: "F" appears as desired--italicized and not bolded.

I'm using a PC, which I should have mentioned, but it seems the issue is now resolved--here's what I did via the Notes app in iCloud online: I selected a word with the bold F that would not italicize or remove bold as expected. From the Style button, I clicked "B" to remove the bold--it removed bold as expected. With the word still selected, from the Style button, I clicked "I" to italicize and this time it worked. Not sure why, but I tried those steps before with very unexpected results. This fixed the issue oddly enough in all words that had issues with formatting of "F" and "T" and they all changed without my having to do anything further. I often type my extensive notes in Microsoft Word first, and then copy/paste them into Notes on iCloud. Perhaps that played into this as well. Thank you for your help.

In the notes app if you type alphabet " F " in a folder ( in iCloud section ) , select it take cursor on top menu bar > format > font > check mark italic it is converted .

When Apple ID is signed in from a web browser at www.icloud.com the letter will always reflect as italic ( the small circle rotates ) and its refreshed .

If you change from italic again to bold from notes application it will reflect in iCloud.com

Note : you can't edit alphabet from iCloud.com its can done only from notes application , also if you had configured gmail account with notes the alphabet can't be edited see the article Write and format notes on Mac - Apple Support , you can refresh the page in iCloud.com click command and R keys .

The third screen shot is from iCloud.com
