My Apple Watch does not show the watchface unless I press the Crown button. My watch is set up in the display for both always on and wake on wrist raise Is there something else I should be doing? It currently isn't much of a watch since it take two hands to what time it is. Thanks i advance for help!

My watch had the theatre mode turned on but to my knowledge I did not turn it on. As soon as I turned it off my watch started opening with a wrist flip. It was annoying to always tap the crown or push the button. Thanks for the answer you provided.

Swipe up on the watch face and see if you have either of these turned on and turn them off;
Did you check in control centre to see if you have theatre mode turned on?.
I am having the same issue with my watch, I have to tap the screen or push the crown button and it is annoying.
