I am trying to shutdown image search for my teenager on his iPhone 13. I have the phone locked down with screen time, but he can still access photos via the Siri spotlight search. I can turn it off in settings, but can’t lock it down, and he knows how to change settings and turn it back on. Any other work around possible? He’s able to manipulate the search previews to find some nudity…seems like a pretty big flaw in apple’s parental controls.
This doesn't solve the problem, unfortunately. You can still functionally use a web-image search when using siri spotlight, which is a setting that can't be disabled under screen-time (only in settings).

You are correct. You can only utilize the settings provided. There would be no way to completely turn off image searching.

To restrict Siri features:
1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions, then tap Content Restrictions.
