Hello nosbigtrebor,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand you're unable to send text messages to more than one contact. We noticed you were reviewing this article: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support Were you able to follow the steps within that article?

If so, please let us know if you're unable to send green bubble texts of SMS/MM messages or if it's specific to the blue bubble text of iMessage.

We look forward to hearing back from you with an update.

Kind regards.

Greetings nosbigtrebor,

Have you already performed a restart of your iPhone? If not, do that now: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support. Does this help to resolve the issue? Often this simple step will refresh the apps and software on the device to solve numerous problems you may encounter.

Does the issue happen when you're on Wi-Fi, cellular data, or both? Keep in mind, that if you do not have a cellular data connection available and you're only using Wi-Fi to send, you'll need to have Wi-Fi Calling enabled. Here's information to help: Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling - Apple Support.

Do you notice if the issue is present only when trying to send contacts with a specific carrier? If so, it may be an issue related to your carrier sending to the other. You would want to reach out to the carrier directly to find out more.

Does your iPhone show that you have enough available space to send and receive messages? You can check your available space by going to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, and verify that you have available free space on your device.

Hello nosbigtrebor,

If the issue is isolated to SMS text messages (message conversations that are green) and iMessages (message conversations that are blue) are sending fine, then you'd want to contact your wireless carrier to report that issue.

The SMS service is something that comes from your wireless carrier and messages sent through SMS go directly through their network. If it's not working, they'll need to investigate on their end to see why your SMS service is not currently working.

If you are also unable to send iMessages, then you'd want to contact Apple for assistance with that. You can reach their support here: Get Support

Cheers!
