The title says it all.
I set my overall volume to where I want it but when my paired iphone rings, it comes through my hearing aids way too loud.

Settings - Sound & Haptics - Ringer & Alerts. Set the Ringer & Alerts - Set the ringer Volume there while you listen with your aids and see if that does not resolve your issue of ringer too loud.
