When pairing a new Watch it's asking for my Apple ID with an email that hasn't been used in years

I just got a new Apple Watch-my fourth. When pairing, it's asking for my Apple ID and password with an email I haven't used in over 15 years. If I use my current password it rejects it. This is also probably my fifth or sixth iPhone since I started using an Apple Watch, and I've never had this issue before.

I checked the Cloud site, and my current email is the only one showing.

Please don't tell me to go to an Apple store. The closest one is 600 miles away.

You can ask apple to remove the activation lock online on this page;

Remove the Activation Lock Here.

Or this;

If you can't remember/gain access to the apple id that paired the watch to the phone.Take the watch and it's receipt with the serial number along with some photo id and any other proof of ownership to an Apple Store and request that they remove the Activation Lock for you.
