Apple managed ID and Apple ID

Hi, we have just recently join our school to apple school manager and we want to know if there is a way to create or join an AppleID to a Managed AppleID in our ASM. I have read the following in the apple webpage but have not found any specific information about that:

"Managed Apple IDs are unique to your organization and separate from Apple IDs that you can create for yourself. You can associate your Managed Apple ID with the same email address and phone number as your personal Apple ID."
