How do I adjust my settings to enable use of internet and on-line services on my iPhone when away from home?

Nowadays, Public Wi-Fi is offered for free, in big cities, shopping centers, in Public Transport (bus & train), restaurants and others.
That depends on where you are.
If at the moment you are away from home and there is no Public Wi-Fi, you have to use Mobile Data, for sure go to -> Settings -> Mobile network -> Mobile Data -> ON.

In the past I have been able to access emails internet services when away from home on my iPhones--I can not do this now!!
