mail box full
how do I delete messages totally. have deleted them in the app, but still no room?

To delete mail, follow the steps here:
Delete emails on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
You would then want to delete the mail from your Trash or Archive folder to permanently delete the mail.
