I had loads of tones i made using itunes when i had an iphone 7. Now i have an iphone 10. Why do i get a no entry sign when i try to drop those ringtones into the latest itunes 12.11.3.17?
How do i get the old x.m4r ringtones into itunes and onto my iphone pretty please.
And why cant i drag and drop the old ringtones.

Are you able to copy/paste the ringtone instead of trying to drag and drop it? This user tip has some great information on adding those ringtones found under "Add ringtone to device, iTunes 12.7 or later" here: Create and manage ringtones - Apple Community
