MacBook Pro Screen Fix
How do I get rid of the thick vertical black stripe and flickering on my MacBook Pro screen? I’ve tried safestart, NOVEM restart and a few others w no success.

That appears more like a hardware issue with the built-in Display. Try connecting an external display and enable mirroring. If the black bar only appears on the built-in Display, then you have confirmed the diagnosis and will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a repair estimate.
