zscaler blocking sites

Whenever i go to use a website on my MackBook Pro it takes me to a page that says

"An application is stopping Chrome from safely connecting to this site"

then proceeds to say

"'Zscaler' isn’t configured correctly. Uninstalling 'Zscaler' usually fixes the problem. Applications that can cause this error include antivirus, firewall and web-filtering or proxy software."

I have never installed Zscaler so I don't know why this keeps coming up. I tried searching on my MackBook "Zscaler" but nothing comes up.

It blocks heaps of sites and I am unable to research what I want to.

If you are connected to a school or business or organization network, check with the IT staff managing the network. If so, the organization can be blocking the website you are attempting to access, or otherwise restricting the extent of access permitted.
