Connect an older device to Monterey

I have a Roland VB-99. Its an older device (2009/2010) that has become discontinued and will no longer updated. The latest drivers are labeled for 10.13/10.14. I was using the device fine on my 2014 Macbook Pro with Catalina. I have since updated to a 2020 Mac Mini with Monterrey. It isnt recognized with the drivers installed. Is there a way I can get this device running on my newer Mac? Will I have to downgrade my OS?

Your assistance will be MUCH appreciated

Mac mini, macOS 12.4

FWIW, a 2020 Mac mini M1 originally shipped with Big Sur 11.0. You cannot downgrade any further than Big Sur. There's no guarantee Big Sur would work even if you did downgrade.
