Migration assistant on new Mac mini error message - not enough space available to transfer…

How do I know what to select to transfer using Migration? I tried to accomplish this at the Genius Bar yesterday and they were helpful walking me through the beginning portion, but then sent me home to set up the transfer myself. Now I’m getting a “not enough space to transfer” message
