Hello…MacBook pro keyboard.

I am in Canada and going back to Columbia in a few weeks.

looking to by a MacBook Pro 16” for my fiancées daughter Juanita who graduates medical school this June 24th in Medellin Columbia.

it will be a graduation gift.

She is all Apple now…iPad, iPhone and I watch…except her laptop.

Retiring her very old Lenovo laptop.

hoping she can make the switch.

The keyboard is western English.

Question is…

would she be Ok with this western keyboard as she is used to her Spanish…Latin America keyboard.

I understand the key boards are different but not that much.

can she adapt or should I get the dedicated Latin American key board. Special order.

not sure what to do?

??

comments please.

Many thanks!

Ed

I think you should get the Latin American keyboard. The differences are greater than you might think from the US English keyboard, and she could find the latter hard to get used to. The Apple US online store offers Latin America keyboards.
