It is not an Apple AirPrint supported device, and HP abandoned driver support back at macOS 10.9 in early 2014. Time for a new device that advertises Apple AirPrint support so you are not dependent on HP abandoning the new device again.

Hi,
If nothing else works, you could perhaps check whether the HP 5.1.1 Printer Software Update package from Apple can be used. Look upon this as a pure experiment. It may not work at all. It is true that the system requirements say that macOS 12 is not compatible, but according to reports, at least a few other printer models appear to have worked anyway (with earlier macOS 12 versions). Something like the HP Deskjet F4400 series version 3.3.2 driver mentioned in the Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support article could perhaps be worth a try. Software conflicts cannot be ruled out, so make sure that you have multiple backup copies of all important files (documents, photos, et cetera) before testing anything.

If all else fails try the free, open-source Gutenprint print driver. Check this page to see if your printer is supported: Gutenprint Supported Printers.
