Mac reboots constantly on startup

As I start up my mac; it will suddenly turn back off. I suspect it might be my menu items; or perhaps a third party app (Bartender)

Is there a way to start up without any menu items to help troubleshoot

I somehow got everything to load when I reset the SMC but I fear the problem will happen again.

Any advice? Thanks
