My podcast, Bourbon Real Talk®, has been published for 3 years. Someone attempted to subscribe in front of me and could not find my show. When you search the actual name of my show it is not in the results, and many of the shows that are returned in the search are seemingly unrelated. I publish using Libsyn. Is there a setting I need to change?
You'd be best off asking Libsyn how to do that, but basically wherever you entered the present title in the first place, you now enter the new title and re-publish. There may be a delay before the change appears, and the Search database may not catch up for several days.
This is because the actual title of your podcast is' bourbonrealtalk's podcast'. That works perfectly well in Search. You might want to change the title.
This is helpful. How do I change the name from 'bourbonrealtalk's podcast' to 'Bourbon Real Talk'?
Go to Settings and change the title there.
