MacBook Air M2 questions

Realise just announced so detail may be light at the moment but does anyone know if the M2 MBA will support 2 external monitors?

also for those with MBA m1 has anyone had one with 16gb ram? Worth it? My m1 MBA 8gig is great but too much safari can kill performance. Wondering if 16gig would make a decent difference

The m2 macbook air can conenct 1 external display without using workarounds

see;

MacBook Air with M2 chip - Tech Specs - Apple

Display Support

Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at 1 billion colors and:

  • One external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz

Thunderbolt 3 digital video output

  • Native DisplayPort output over USB‑C
  • VGA, HDMI, DVI, and Thunderbolt 2 output supported using adapters (sold separately)

For ram, 16 GB will give you alot more headroom than 8 GB
