Is it possible to use a catch-all address for a custom domain on iCloud Mail, e.g. *@customdomain.com?

Many email providers allow for the use of catch-all addresses for custom domains, such that any address is routed to the mailbox without the need to specify each alias. Does iCloud Mail allow for the creation of such addresses?

Not yet. Currently you can create three aliases per user.

Though in their new iOS/iPadOS 16 preview page they do mention the following:

Custom Email Domain

Share your custom domain with people outside your Family Sharing group, purchase a new domain, or enable catch‑all aliases right from iCloud Mail settings.
