Numbers - grand totals
I have a table that uses categories and summary totals. I'm trying to get a grand total for the entire table and can't get it to work. What can i do to get grand totals?

Consider using a Pivot Table. It's quick and easy:
Simply click in the data table (here Table 1) and from the menu choose Organize > Create Pivot Table > On Same Sheet and then go to the Pivot Options pane and drag Name and Amount (or whatever is relevant in your table) from Fields down into the Rows and Values boxes.
In this example I based the Pivot Table on Table 1 in the 'Categories Basics' template but it can easily be based on an uncategorized table.
Pivot Tables can do many of the things the Categories feature can, and more, including, as you can see, calculating a Grand Total.
