Apple Music skips and speed up through songs
I recently upgraded to M1 Mac, the computer is authorised and internet is great. Trying to play music and it is skipping, really annoying.

It sounds like you need some help with Apple Music skipping, and we're happy to help!
Try the following and let us know if it resolves the issue:
Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music -- With the Music application open on your Mac, select Music > Preferences, and make sure that "Sync Library" is on.
If Sync Library was already on, select Account > Sign out. Restart your Mac, then sign back into the Music app and see if your songs still skip. Be aware that any songs you've downloaded to your Mac may need to be downloaded again.
How to use safe mode on your Mac -- If the previous steps didn't resolve the issue, restart your Mac in safe mode and test the issue, then apply the steps provided referring to the information below:
- If the issue happens while in safe mode, follow the steps under "If the issue continues in safe mode".
- If the issue doesn’t occur in safe mode, the steps to use are under "If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode".
If you restart your Mac in safe mode, get back to us with the results after you’ve applied the additional steps.
