Call for Confirmation

I received a phone call from an apple number asking if I had made a purchase. Once I confirmed “yes”, I was told my order was going to be shipped out. Is this normal? I had a large purchase so I wasn’t sure.

Phone call received about apple account order I just got a call "supposedly" from apple saying there was an apple order placed on my apple account for $2,999.99 and if i recognized it just ignore and they would ship the order but if not press 1 to talk to a rep. Didn’t get a confirmation letter yet Hi there, I just ordered a new iphone 12 pro 128GB graphite from the website. My order # is W906712105. I didn’t get a confirmation email regarding my payment yet. I checked with my own bank account history and doesn’t show any transaction on it. But I got the email saying that the order gonna be delivered in next 2-3wks. Could you please check whether my order went through well n correctly? Hope it makes sense. Thanks for your help.
