Note that Phil said Preferences in his first response. Open your Profile and look at the upper right side to find "Edit Profile":

When you click that, you will go to all the preference options for your account. Scroll down to this section:

and set the check boxes as shown. You will not get flooed with mail about every thread you visit, yet will be able to get important messages from the mods about earning points and leveling up.

Click on your name at the top left corner of the page, and then on Preferences and scroll down to the email settings and turn things you don’t want.

You should also go into My Subscriptions and un-follow threads and forums you don’t want to be getting emails from.

You click on the "Following" button in the (+) menu next to each post you have in My Subscriptions.

To unfollow a forum you would need to go to the forum you are following, and click the "Following" button at the top of the forum page.

How do I unfollow threads and forums when I go into My Subscriptions? Is it a checkbox? I am getting too many emails. Thanks Ann
