Low Battery sound not working on airPod pros

After the 15.5 update my iPhone 13 paired with my airpod pros with the latest firmware does not make a sound when the battery is low. It was working fine just before the update.

Trouble Shooting Done so far:

-Confirmed iOS and firmware are up to date

-Restarted iPhone

-Reset airpods and paired them again to iPhone

-Charged for 30 minutes and paired again

-Checked sound settings and made sure ringer and alerts are turned up

-Tunred off Headphone safety "Reduce Loud Sounds"

-Checked accessibility in settings and made sure balance bar was set at 0

-Turned on Headphone Notifications to see if that will work

Still not getting the low battery notification at 20% or below. I do get the low battery banner and the headphone has died sound. Did Apple eliminate the low battery sound notification with the new update?

Troubleshooting Low Battery and Update:

A. Restore from a Backup:

Did you ever create a backup of your iPhone prior to installing this update? If so, restore you iPhone from it. If not, take this as a learning experience, knowing to always backup your device every-so-often. That way, you'll have something to restore your iPhone form should anything go wrong in the future, such as this.

and...

B. Give Apple Feedback:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this post
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
