Since only iMac 2014 and older can be used as an external displays and iMacs Late 2015 now being obsolete not receiving the latest Mac OS Ventura it is only fair to make a use of its great 27 inch display and use it as an external display for a new MacBook with Apple M1 or M2 chips.
Apple - please add external display capability to non-Ventura iMacs!
Well... so called Target Display Mode that used to support that option is no longer available since... Mac OS Catalina.

Now a perfectly running iMac becomes essentially obsolete, granted that after six years of good use...

How reliable is it? More often than not when a third party device comes to Mac it sort of works, but no really?
Also will it be able to draw 5K from say MacBook Pro 13 with M2?
