My iPhone 13 keeps auto adjusting the brightness of photos

How do I stop it making all my photos brighter on both my front and back camera?

iPhone 13, iOS 15

It not only adjusts the brightness, but it adjusts the color and contrast as well. It was mostly designed for photos of people and to handle differing skin tones and lighting, which is helpful for those photos, but it is screwing up everything else. It is incredibly frustrating. The feature is known as Smart HDR and although it could be turned off on previous models, it cannot be turned off on the iPhone 13. Every time I take a photo of my artwork to send to a client, the color is completely off and cannot be adjusted to be correct. Come on Apple, we pay a lot of money to own your products, at least make them user friendly. How about a correction for this in your next system update?
