How can I start a 2021 MacBook Pro in Safe Mode?
The official support article says to press and hold the power button to start a newer Mac in Safe Mode. Our new MacBook Pro has no power button. How can I start it in Safe Mode?

Meanwhile I figured out the the fingerprint sensor is also a power button. It would be nice if they would put an appropriate symbol on it ;-}
@ku4hx, It turns itself on automagically when I open it ;-)
