Need help. Sold my Apple Watch today. I reset watch but forgot to sign it out on iCloud. I have since removed the watch from my iCloud account but it is still showing the watch attached to my account. The watch also shows that it is not paired with my phone. any suggestions...

I have logged into icloud on my laptop, clicked on find my iphone and clicked Watch, clicked to Erase but it says it will erase once its connected to the internet. There is a separate button saying Remove From Account would this work?

You need to remove the activation lock;
