I have an Iphone 12 how do I tell if I'm using 2.4 or 5.0

You can't tell from the iPhone. There is no built in way to do that.


Some wi-fi network administrators will add 5G or 5Ghz at the end of the network name to identify such connections, but not all do. You can do the same from your own router to be sure you are connecting to the 5Ghz network of your own Wi-Fi network. Check your routers user guide to find out how to do that.


You can get a 3rd party app from the App Store that may be able to do identify the frequency.
