Messages on Mac Studio no longer synching with iPhone and vice versa. what gives?

I deleted my old mac off of my account. i changed password for apple ID.

Now i can't sign into anything unless i use my COMPUTER's password (which i do not want to use!)

Sending messages from my Mac Studio are "Not Delivered".

Messages from iPhone still works. but would like to have them synch between one another like before.

Any advice? should i call tech support tomorrow?

If you have changed your password, have you followed the steps in this article? Make sure you turn off Find My Phone before signing out of the old ID. Once signed out and Find My Phone is off, then sign in with the new ID, then turn Find My Phone back on. You must do this on each device/computer.

If you have everything set up as outlined in this link: Set up Messages on Mac - Apple Support and you're not able to use iMessage as expected, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support to look in to that and see what's happening.

Thank You, Eric Root. Very helpful info.

Maybe it was just something with the system needing a few hours to correct everything. I got on here this afternoon (like 18 hours later) and everything is working fine.
