calibrating correct walking distance on apple watch

My husband and I walk and our watches give us different distances on our watches. I've checked the distance against google maps and mine never calculates as much as it's supposed to and my husbands is always correct.

How can I fix this without deleting all my data?

2 Apple Watch ultra distance discrepancies My partner and I purchased 2 Apple Watch ultra’s 3 weeks ago and have noticed some marked discrepancies in the outdoor wall measurements. We have a daily walk that we cover each morning, walking side by side and obviously covering the same distance and path. At the end of the walk, my watch states 7.5km and here’s reads 6.4km. Neither of us have our phones with us while walking and the watches have the same watch OS version. Thougts?

Hi there. Here are some things to try:

1) Make sure that location services are enabled on your iPhone and Apple Watch

2) Try Calibrating your Apple Watch for improved Workout and Activity accuracy
