My partner and I purchased 2 Apple Watch ultra’s 3 weeks ago and have noticed some marked discrepancies in the outdoor wall measurements.
We have a daily walk that we cover each morning, walking side by side and obviously covering the same distance and path.
At the end of the walk, my watch states 7.5km and here’s reads 6.4km.
Neither of us have our phones with us while walking and the watches have the same watch OS version.
Thougts?
Outdoor walk uses GPS and it should be closer than that, maybe 5% tolerance.
I suggest you check the actual distance on a map. Also swap watches for your next walk.
