It can get worse quicker than you think—and lead to a logic board replacement as well.
Not recommended to keep charging the battery if that is your issue.

It's probably an indication of a swollen battery. Get it evaluated: Get Support
Take John Galt's advice and schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar right away and have it checked. If it's a swollen battery, it's not good.

Depending on the severity of the warp, it may be damaged internal components of the laptop, such as the logic board or battery. If it is small, it is probably not anything to worry about. If it is larger, you may want to take it to an Apple Store to make sure nothing was internally damaged. If you want, you can post a photo of the warp.
FYI, once a battery starts to swell, it will keep doing it and can damage your device to the point of being ruined.
