Everytime I click on a Firefox link it opens a new window instead of just a new tab

Anybody having issues with Firefox not automatically opening a tab? My Prefs are set to open a tab, not a window. My iMac screen is full of windows with single tabs. Currently has 22 open windows. I had to open a new screen so that I could view most items. Four windows are minimized.

It still works fine in the main tab group on Safari (the one that cannot be deleted and is always there). I created two tabs groups that are synced between my laptop and iPhone. When I use cmd+shift+t in any of these groups, the recently closed tabs reopens for a second and then disappears instantly without any option to reopen it. Using Cmd+shift+t again reopens the tab closed before, but this new one disappears immediately as well... Any suggestions how to solve this issue?

Safari Tabs Acting Strangely--Duplicating and Glitching When Moved I have a 2017 MacBook Air. I have a video linked below, but I'll also explain the problem. Basically, when I try to drag a tab away to either an existing window or to an empty space to create a new window, the tab will duplicate, it will be in both windows, and one of the tabs will be greyed out. Whichever window I am clicked into will look normal, but the one not clicked into will be greyed out. If I try to delete the original tab that was dragged (this doesn't happen when I delete the "new" tab/window), it will delete that tab, but the "child" tab will behave strangely. It won't close, exactly, but it seems like it just crashes, all I can see is the search bar and my bookmarks bar. So by deleting just the original tab, it actually essentially deletes both. Once, when I tried to delete the tab (I can't remember if it was the original tab or the child tab), it ended up duplicating the tab instead, but not once, like 10x. Opening new window doesn't work after upgrading to ventura Since I upgraded to ventura I have an issue with opening an new window. Eg when on safari I choice opening a new window I got opening a new tab. For other apps like terminal, pages etc the behavior is simular. I can drag the tab outside the window to get 2 safari windows. But this is stupid because double work. I guess there is a new setting somewhere hidden to set this. I searched for a few months but didn't find something. Does anybody have a good tip how to restore the correct working? Saying that when I want to open a window a window opens.

What version of Firefox do you have installed? That shouldn't happen.

The current version is 101.0.1.
