How can I disable Mail from launching when click on an email? Is there a way to totally disable Apple Mail app from my MacBook Pro, as I'm using web based email now? Thanks

Browser mail...(?) The old adage is "friends don't let friends do browser mail"

If it works for you...ok

a browser is a cumbersome and archaic way to manage mail. There are many mail clients available to chose among if the baked in Mail.app does not do it for you..

Do you have accounts set up in Mail.app— if so delete all of them.

FWIW, I use webmail probably 95% of the time. Mostly Gmail but also AOL and Yahoo. I've never had Mail open by clicking on an email. The entire point of webmail is not to need or open an email client. I think more information is needed.

Does the User have more than one E-Mail Client installed on this computer, like Outlook plus the Native Mail Application ?

If Yes, and you want Outlook as the Default e-Mail Client follow the first Image of @leroydouglase above.

Change the Default e-mail Reader to Outlook.

This must be done from within the Apple Mail Application.
