Moving photos from iCloud to the photos app

Hi,

Does anyone know how to move the photos on the iCloud to the photos app (located in a hard drive). Thanks!

You don't need to move ( drag and drop ) photos from photo application to the location in finder > Macintosh HD > users > your user name > pictures > Photos Library.photoslibrary ( this will unnecessary occupy hard drive space ) .

Rather set up photo library and its preferences and designate the photo library see the articles Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
