Do you have any advice on my iPhone 13 that's suddenly inoperable? I cannot open apps (call or text either) nor can I shut down. I even pressed vol up and vol down before holding down power button as someone suggested. Help! I want to be able to use my phone. Thanks for any ideas you have for me.

I did more researching and here's what finally worked. In very quick succession do as follows: 1. press Vol Up once, 2. press Vol Down once, and 3. hold down power button.

Glad you resolved the problem. That sequence is called a “force restart”.
