disable swipe-to-start-camera from lockscreen

Is there any way to disable the ability to start the camera by swiping on the lockscreen without disabling access to the camera app? Too often an inadvertent touch on the screen as I'm putting the camera away starts the camera and it continues running until the next time I use the phone and realize what has happened.
