Magic mice crossing between iMac and MacBook

MacOS Monetary 12.4

Since the update on both the iMac and the MacBook Air my mice are crossing between both the iMac and the MacBook. I uninstalled (deleted them from bluetooth) both mice and connected them via usb cable. Works for a while then back to square one. Been to the Mac Store they don't know either.

Both units are working next to each other but have been for years, never had a problem before.

Any suggestions, solutions

Thanks

Sepp

Disable "Universal Control"

On your Mac

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Displays.
  2. Click the Universal Control button at the bottom of the preferences window.
  3. Deselect “Allow your pointer and keyboard to move between any nearby Mac or iPad.”
