iPad screen resolution

A bit like this question that does not get an conclusive answer Where to find out screen resolution in iP… - Apple Community

How do I see what my screen resolution is short of taking a screenshot and then inspecting the metadata? I'm only asking, because I have 2 Ipad s, an 8th generation, and another one which just says it is a pro 12.9" . Do people just google the model number normally for this kind of thing? Feels a bit of a place to get lost on a random website or am i missing a good way to check?

Does the specs page answer your question? iPad (8th generation) - Technical specifications

Are you looking for a place on the iPad itself with that information? Because I don't think that's listed.

Thanks, it is there.

That's what that sheet says - my confusion is that I was hoping that some community smart person had put together a single place where software engineers can compare devices a bit more quickly to uncover layout anomalies and make sure apps fit onto the device nicely in all modes, but without having to mess with the apple simulator.
